We finally released NextGlobe One after a long preparation time - our subscription for all NextGlobe games. With NextGlobe One you can create bigger rooms plus you get an orange name in the chat (more features to come) - starting at 1.99$. Werewolf Online and all future games will stay free. Available at nextglobe.one
We moved the chat into it's own overlay on the bottom of the page - you can now open it by clicking on it, the open button or by dragging it open. This results in less space usage from the chat and generally looks more clean. Now you can decide if and when you want to see the chat. We also optimized the layout of several in-game pages for a better usage of space. We also fixed a few bugs, including two dark-mode related bugs that mainly affected the room owner settings.
We fixed many bugs, including a rather annoying bug regarding the room/game connection. We also refreshed and optimized the design of the round summary screen as well as the voting result screen! We hope you enjoy the new look 😄
We found a better live chat software and re-added the Support live chat again.
We improved the chat reliability and it's connection. We also fixed a bunch of room and chat connection related bugs.
Werewolf Online is a free social deduction game similar to Mafia that can be played with up to 50 friends from all over the world. It is playable on Windows, macOS, Linux as well as Android and iOS - you just need a browser like Chrome or Firefox and a working internet connection.
The goal is to expose the hidden werewolves - or if you are a werewolf: kill all innocent players before anyone notices you are the traitor. After starting a game, everyone gets assigned a secret role, which should not be shared with the other players. Everyone tries to find the werewolves in the thrilling discussion phases – but as soon as nightfall, the werewolves kill innocent villagers that know too much about them. The right strategy counts!
The game is based on "Die Werwölfe von Düsterwald" (Les loups-garous de Thiercelieux) which is available as a physical card game. It was inspired by the russian game "Mafia", which already exists since 1986. The history of this social game lies far in the past – and now it's even playable online with your friends, completely for free!
Yes. You have the possibility to customize almost every aspect of the game in the room settings. You don't want the role of a player to be shown after he died? No problem! You want the major voting to occur after the kill voting? Pretty easy – the order of the game phases can be completely customized by drag-and-drop.
You can play with up to 50 friends! In order to create rooms with a higher capacity than 10 players, you need to subscribe to NextGlobe One. Under certain conditions, we may grant higher room capacities for free: please contact us via email at [email protected] to get in touch.
We recommend playing the game while in a video call to see the facial expressions of the others, but of course this is not necessary. You can talk with your friends over TeamSpeak or Discord or even play with them while sitting next to each other – whatever you prefer, the possibilities are infinite.
We plan to release public rooms in the future. Then you will be able to play with random players from all over the world! If you are interested in further updates, you can follow us on Twitter (@NextGlobeNet) or join our Discord server.
NextGlobe One is our optional, paid subscription. It is linked to your NextGlobe account and it's benefits will be available in ALL of our games.
In Werewolf Online, subscribers are able to create rooms with a player limit of up to 50 players. Additionally, all ads will be removed.
